Ebanie Bridges has vowed to wear a 'skanky stripper' T-shirt as she prepares for her world title defence against Shannon O'Connell in Leeds on Saturday night.
The Blonde Bomber, who was wowed boxing fans both in and out of the ring, has become embroiled in a bitter war of words with her fellow Aussie sheila. The champion is famed for appearing on the scales in racy lingerie, with promoter Eddie Hall once famously not knowing where to look.
But 'Shotgun Shannon', an icon of boxing in Australia, has been cynical towards her compatriot. And earlier this year, she pulled no punches when asked if she'd describe her rival as a beauty queen: "More of a skanky stripper or something, I don't know," she replied.

But talking to the Main Event Boxing Podcast, Bridges, who has claimed she doesn't wear underwear when boxing, has now responded with a jovial riposte: "The skanky stripper thing – I'm gonna get shirts made up that say 'skanky stripper'," she said.
And she warned O'Connell, who's unbeaten in her last eight fights: "I wonder how you're gonna explain that you got beat by a skanky stripper that doesn't take the sport seriously?"
As well as receiving attention from adoring fans, Bridges, 36, has also become well accustomed to taking her fair share of stick as well. But she insisted that online trolls and critics were simply a consequence of being in the main event picture.

"No matter what – look at (Floyd) Mayweather, he's incredible, he still has so many haters. Everyone has haters. Canelo has haters. Clarissa Shields has haters. Some people just hate," she continued.
"The real people, the people that understand boxing, that know boxing, that don't have some personal vendetta. They can see the truth of me, they can see what I've done and what I am, and that's all that matters."
Bridges has racked up an 8-1 record in professional boxing since her debut bout in February 2019. Her only defeat came in a brutal bout with British fighter Shannon Courtenay last April, which left Bridges disfigured with an ugly eye injury.
