Boxer bizarrely pulls out ‘little cute’ toothbrush in tense face-off with rival
A boxer bizarrely pulled out a “little cute” toothbrush in the middle of a tense face-off with his opponent.
Bitter rivals Mikael Lawal and Isaac Chamberlain will battle it out at the O2 Arena on October 21. They clash for the British cruiserweight crown on the undercard of Joshua Buatsi vs Dan Azeez.
The pair showed their immense dislike for each other during their face-to-face sit down on Boxxer. But the trash-talking on display took a strange turn when Chamberlain whipped out a pink toothbrush.

The Brixton fighter had previously shown off his tooth-cleansing tool in an interview with Sky Sports. He grinned while saying: “I don’t want him [Lawal] to pull out, to say he had some sort of dental problem with his teeth. I even brought him a little toothbrush," before using it himself.
Chamberlain’s strange dig must have rattled his opponent, however, as Lawal brought it up during their sit-down. “Bring out the toothbrush that you’ve got on you,” he said.
A visibly furious Lawal then watched as ‘Chambo’ brandished the brush, saying: “This little cute one here?” Lawal then responded: “Ladies and gentleman, this clown you see here. All you do is clown. You’re just a clown.”

But Chamberlain appeared unfazed, saying: “Sorry I’m just distracted, why are you wearing gardening gloves bruv? What’s going on here? What job did you come from?” as fans were left in hysterics at the pair’s contrasting approaches to the face-off.
One fan commented: “My man with the tooth brush is winning,” while a second wrote: “Guy is the biggest wind up lool.”

A third added: “Tried to embarrass him with the toothbrush and it completely backfired,” and another joked: “Love how one dude is angry and serious and the other's just ripping into him.”
Others were not quite as amused with the spectacle, commenting: “Jesus. Is this what qualifies for a boxer today? Some trash talking huh.”
