Anthony Joshua’s fight date against Otto Wallin in Saudi Arabia is set to be announced in a press conference on Wednesday.
Both Joshua and Eddie Hearn met with Saudi boxing boss Turki Alalshikh on Monday, but as of 6pm yesterday evening no contract had been signed by the former heavyweight champion.
There were also several other fighters who had not signed their contract too, meaning the planned press conference on Wednesday was at risk of being pushed back.
But Mail Sport’s Charlotte Daly revealed on The Hook that the press conference will take place tomorrow evening.
Fighters on the card were previously told that they would need to fly for London for custom suit fittings ahead of the announcement, but that is now unlikely given the time frame.

Also set to fight on the undercard is Deontay Wilder, but there is currently no clause in the contracts to state that Joshua and Wilder would fight each other after their respective fights against Wallin and Parker.
Frank Sanchez was another fighter who had not yet agreed terms. He reached out to Jermaine Franklin – one of AJ’s former opponents – over a bout.
But the American heavyweight turned the fight down as the turnaround was too quick and he didn’t feel he could get a substantial camp in.
Tyson Fury had originally signed to fight Oleksandr Usyk for the undisputed crown on December 23, but just eight weeks before the date, the 35-year-old dropped out to fight Francis Ngannou.
Alalshikh reportedly still wanted a fight to take place on December 23, and that is how Joshua came in talks to fight on the bill with Wilder in a separate bout.
Joshua’s rumoured opponent, Wallin, gave Fury 47 stitches in 2019 when the pair fought, although the Gypsy King eventually won on points.
