Anthony Joshua has dazzled his 12.5m Instagram followers with his impressive knockout power, after sharing a clip of him practicing uppercuts with coach Angel Fernandez.
Joshua, who has not yet started the main portion of his training camp ahead of his upcoming fight, fired a series of powerful punches at a shield held by new trainer Fernandez, who joined up with Joshua's team following AJ's 2019 loss to Andy Ruiz Jr.
He captioned the post “Having fun before it gets serious.”
Fans were impressed with AJ’s powerful uppercut, the punch that famously rocked Wladimir Klitschko in the eleventh round of the pair’s 2017 contest.
One fan claimed: “Usyk’s head is coming off.”
Another commented: “What a f*****g man. Hands down the greatest heavyweight from the UK, in and outside the ring.”
Joshua also received support from a number of his celebrity fans.
Boxing star Ryan Garcia told AJ he was “Looking sharp.”
Watford striker Troy Deeney said: “Works have to run.”
Do you think Anthony Joshua will defeat Oleksandr Usyk when they clash in September? Let us know in the comments section below.
Joshua is set to face undefeated Ukrainian Usyk on September 25 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. The clash is arguably set to be AJ’s toughest test to date.
Usyk is considered by many to be one of the best pound-for-pound boxers in the world having previously defeated the likes of Tony Bellew, Derek Chisora, and Murat Gassiev.
Joshua will certainly still be the favourite going into the bout, following his solid last outing against Kubrat Pulev as well as his significant size and power advantage.

However, it goes without saying that Usyk is far from a mere stepping-stone towards an all-British unification bout with Tyson Fury.
Anthony Joshua is set to face former cruiserweight king Oleksandr Usyk in a bout expected to take place on September 25 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London. It will be Usyk’s third bout at heavyweight and Joshua’s WBA, IBF and WBO belts will all be on the line.
