WBO welterweight champion Terence Crawford says Amir Khan has ‘done everything he needed to’ ahead of his fight with Kell Brook on Saturday night.
Khan and Brook will go head-to-head at the Manchester Arena on February 19 after nearly 20 years of animosity and a long-standing war of words.
Crawford – who holds stoppage time wins over both boxers – says he will be supporting Khan during the contest as he has been working closely with the Brit ahead of the fight.

The unbeaten pound-for-pound boxer has sparred with Khan several times ahead of the catchweight contest and said the 35-year-old has been working closely with his coaches.
Crawford claims Brook – who was knocked out in the fourth round of their WBO welterweight title fight in November 2020 – still has a lot ‘left in the tank’.
However, he believes Khan is ‘ready’ for the challenge and insists it the bout will be a ‘great fight’ for the fans.
Speaking to Boxing Scene, Crawford said: ‘I can’t speak for another man [Brook]. That was a great fight. To me, he still had a lot left in him. But I caught him with a good shot.

‘I’m here to support Amir. He has been in training with myself and my coaches. So I am just supporting a friend. Amir is ready. He has done everything that he needs to do. It should be a great fight.

Khan has been training under the guidance of Brian ‘Bomac’ McIntyre, who is also the head coach of Crawford.
Crawford was reluctant to give away too much information about Khan’s preparations ahead of the fight on Saturday.
However, he did say, that what Khan had been working on is different to what he had been working on before his fight with Brook.
Crawford told Sky Sports: ‘We have different styles. Amir is fast, he likes to box a lot. Two different styles. What he is working on against Brook is different to what I worked on. It is not the same game-plan.’
The highly-anticipated fight sold out in a matter of minutes. Fans are desperate to see these two boxers go head-to-head despite them being past their prime.
Khan and Brook, both 35, are coming to the end of their careers. Therefore, they decided to cash in on the seismic payday that has always been on the horizon.
The pair both feel that this payday will be their rival’s last, with there being a real possibility that the loser of Saturday’s contest in Manchester will hang up his gloves for good.
