Then there is one of America’s hottest superstars in the making against a hard-hitting Mexican. Of course there is a huge heavyweight dust up in front of 90,000 fans at Wembley to look forward to as well. Get ready for a tasty few months of action.

Canelo Alvarez v Dmitry Bivol – May 7

Should it be happening? No. Bivol should be banned like many Russian athletes are around the world.

But this is boxing, and rules don’t apply it seems. If the fight does go ahead then it is set to be a barnstormer. Canelo is yet again daring to be great by going back up to light-heavyweight to take on the WBA champion. The Mexican won the WBO belt in the division when he beat Sergey Kovalev in 2019.

But Kovalev was faded and past his best at the time. Bivol is still in his prime. The Russian’s KO rate may have stalled in the last few years but he is still a big hitter with a lot of technical skills. This is one of the hardest fights out there Canelo could have taken. It will add to his legacy if he wins again by handing Bivol his first defeat.

A super-featherweight unification that must not be missed.

Stevenson is the rising superstar in the US that many have earmarked to become a pay-per-view powerhouse like Floyd Mayweather. He is already a two-weight world champion and Olympic silver medallist at 24.

But in hard-hitting Mexican Valdez he is facing the toughest challenge of his career to date. WBC champion Valdez is unbeaten in 30 fights but will also be wary of the challenge from the 19-0 silky-skilled Stevenson. It is a tough one to pick, which points to a classic clash in Las Vegas.

A heavyweight fight between two British fighters at Wembley Stadium? What is not to like.

Fury is a big favourite as he defends his WBC crown against bitter rival Whyte in front of 90,000 supporters. But he will be desperate to put on a show in what will be his first fight on these shores since 2018.

Whyte has waited for his chance and has been calling for it for years. He will be keen to deliver an almighty upset. There is also the needle between the pair and the build-up will be dominated by the ‘Will he or won’t he show up’ drama surrounding Whyte. It is sure to be a special night as boxing prepares to take over the home of English football again.

There is no UK TV for this yet but we have to hope it arrives soon.

This will be a special rematch after their first fight was a classic which ended in controversy. Boxing does few things better than a rerun of a much-debated scored first bout. Charlo was the favourite to defend his WBC, IBF and WBA light-middleweight belts and claim the WBO title back in July.

But he was, for large parts, he was being outboxed and outfought by Castano. It needed a late rally from Charlo to even get close on the cards. Somehow one official gave him the fight 117-111 so it ended in a split decision draw. There was rightly an outcry but at least we get to see it all again.

If you think women’s boxing is not for you then watch this fight and think again.

These two have been calling each other out since Taylor first turned pro. The Irishwoman is the undisputed queen of the lightweight division who is an idol in her home country.

Puerto Rican puncher Serrano has skipped through the weights with ease picking up multiple world titles.
