What channel is Kentucky vs. UNC? Time, TV schedule after canceled NCAA basketball games vs. Ohio State, UCLA
No. 4 UCLA canceled its second game this week as it continues to deal with COVID-19 cases within the team.
UCLA was slated to play UNC in the CBS Sports Classic on Saturday in Las Vegas. However, after the team canceled its Wednesday game against Alabama State, Saturday’s game seemed unlikely.
The Bruines held out hope though, as they waited to cancel their game against UNC until Friday morning. The team released a statement on their Twitter account confirming that the game is canceled and will not be rescheduled.
The second game to be played at the CBS Sports Classic was No. 15 Ohio State vs. No. 21 Kentucky. However, Ohio State also had positive COVID-19 cases within their program, so they canceled the game on Thursday.
Now that Kentucky and UNC both don’t have opponents to play, the two teams will play against each other as the lone game on Saturday. With various other cancellations in college basketball right now, it wouldn’t be surprising if teams get assigned new opponents last minute like these teams did.
