2021 WNBA season kicks off: How to watch, live stream games in league’s 25th season

As the WNBA enters its 25th season, viewers will be able to watch more games than ever before across a variety of networks, social media juggernauts and streaming platforms.

More than 100 national telecasts will be spread across two broadcast networks (ABC and CBS), four cable networks (ESPN, ESPN2, CBS Sports Network and NBA TV), and streaming on Facebook, Twitter, Amazon Prime and ESPN3. WNBA League Pass will also offer fans the opportunity to stream 110 games.

“Our goal is to deliver as many WNBA games and content to our passionate fans and supporters across platforms that best match the evolution of content consumption," WNBA Commissioner Cathy Engelbert said.

The 2021 season kicks off Friday with four games, beginning with the Indiana Fever at New York Liberty at 7 p.m. ET on NBA TV. Twitter will stream the contest between the Connecticut Sun and Atlanta Dream at 7:30 p.m. ET. CBS Sports Network picks up the action at 9 p.m. ET with the Phoenix Mercury at Minnesota Lynx before the Dallas Wings and Los Angeles Sparks close out the night on Facebook with a 10:30 p.m. ET game.

Saturday brings a doubleheader to ABC featuring the last two WNBA champions. In the 1 p.m. ET contest, two-time MVP Candace Parker makes her debut with the Chicago Sky as they travel to Washington to take on two-time MVP Elena Delle Donne and the 2019 champion Mystics. Game 2 will feature a rematch of the 2020 championship, with Sue Bird, Breanna Stewart and the Seattle Storm kicking off their title defense against A'ja Wilson and the Las Vegas Aces at 3 p.m. ET.

Sunday brings two more games, both on CBS Sports Network. The Fever host the Liberty at 2 p.m. followed by the Mercury at the Sun at 8 p.m. ET.
