Drake buys Paddy Pimblett and Molly McCann Rolex watches after winning UFC bet

Rapper Drake has bought Liverpudlian MMA stars Paddy Pimblett and Molly McCann a rolex watch after winning a bit on the pair at UFC London last month. Both Pimblett and McCann secured impressive victories in the capital, earning Drake a cool £3million in winnings.

McCann picked up her win after stopping rival Hannah Goldy in round one, before fellow scouser Pimblett followed up by defeating Jordan Leavitt with a brutal choke in round two. After the fight, McCann tagged Canadian star Drake in an Instagram post calling for him to buy the two fighters a Rolex watch after helping secured his winning bet.

Soon after the 32-year-old revealed that the rapper had responded to her post, confirming that he had agreed to follow up on McCann's request after getting in contact on Instagram.

Pimblett was hoping the famed singer was a man of his word, after joking after his fight that the Canadian 'can't back out now' after promising his fellow scouser the gifts. He told reporters: "Hopefully he is coming to Chicago in a few days to meet us there and give us our watches.

"Molly was messaging him after the fight so hopefully he comes to Chicago and we can meet him, that would be sound. He can't back out on it now, can he? He said he was going to get us a watch so he has to get us a watch."

Just over a month on though, Drake has lived up to his promise after a video was released on social media showing Pimblett collecting his watch whilst over in the US. Posting the clip on his Instagram, 'Paddy The Baddy' wrote: "@champagnepapi pulled through on his promise what a man.

"Had to tell him tho bet with @barstoolsports on the @barstoolsportsbook and he wudda got well more cash in." In the clip Pimblett was told he had received a gift from Drake, before being handed a green box which he went on to open.

Releasing his Rolex was inside, the 27-year-old said: "Belter. Thank you very much. Nice one for that Drake, thank you very much for that. He said he'd get us a Rolex and he's got us one?." Winning his wager on Pimblett and McCann was a much needed one for the rapper, after losing high stake wagers on Jorge Masvidal and Justin Gaethje.
