Emma Raducanu is the sole remaining Brit in both the women’s and men’s singles draw heading into the second week of Wimbledon. The 18-year-old has been a revelation at Wimbledon this year, instantly becoming fan-favourite in her first main draw of a Grand Slam.

Raducanu only made her WTA Tour debut at the Nottingham Open last month, losing to compatriot Harriet Dart in the opening round.

She was given a wildcard entry for Wimbledon though and has taken that opportunity with both hands.

The British teen sensation is yet to drop a set in wins over Vitalia Diatchenko, Marketa Vondrousova and Sorana Cirstea.

Vondrousova was expected to prove too big of a test for Raducanu in the second round with the 22-year-old reaching the final of the 2019 French Open.

But Raducanu wrapped up the victory in little over an hour before being rewarded with a debut appearance on Court One against Cirstea.

The big arena can often be daunting, particularly with the pressure of playing in front of your home crowd.

However, Raducanu rose to the occasion in spectacular fashion, becoming a household name overnight.

She now takes on Australian Ajla Tomljanovic in the fourth round with the potential of winning £300,000.

Emma Raducanu next match

Emma Raducanu will have had 48 hours rest between matches heading into the fourth round by the time she takes to the court tonight.

Manic Monday always boasts a star-studded line up with both the men’s and women’s fourth-round matches taking place.

Novak Djokovic kicks things off on Centre Court against Cristian Garin at 1.30pm while Ashleigh Barty is first up on Court One.

And Raducanu will undoubtedly be watching the women’s world No 1 in action as her possible next opponent.

Felix Auger Aliassime faces off against Alexander Zverev after that match on Court One with Raducanu the last to play on the big stage.

Depending on how long the first two matches take, Raducanu could well be on court by 5pm.

Zverev and Auger Aliassime have not taken longer than three hours to complete their matches so far in the tournament while Barty has averaged just over one-hour-and-a-half.
