West Ham host Aston Villa at London Stadium this evening as David Moyes’ side look to continue Premier League winning form against in-form opposition.

The Hammers are in fine form having gained back-to-back wins over Fulham and Sheffield United in recent weeks, but Dean Smith’s resurgent Villa will provide a sterner test at the London Stadium.

The Villains followed up their 3-0 win over Arsenal with a controversial 2-1 defeat to Brighton last weekend, and will be hoping to bounce back with a result in east London.

A win for Villa would see them leapfrog Leicester, who have just lost 2-1 to struggling Fulham, into 4th.

West Ham, meanwhile, can move into 6th with a win tonight.

Jack Grealish will be under the spotlight as Aston Villa return to the scene of their most important game in recent history.

It is the news every West Ham fan has been waiting for – Michail Antonio is back!

The striker had been in blistering form in the opening weeks of the season, leading the line superbly and running the likes of Wolves and Leicester ragged. He has been out the past few weeks with a hamstring strain but is fit enough to return tonight.

Villa make one change from the team that lost 2-1 to Brighton last time out. Conor Hourihane replaces the injured Ross Barkley for the visitors. Talisman Jack Grealish leads the side tonight.

Good evening and welcome to Sportsmail’s live coverage of Aston Villa’s trip to West Ham in the final Premier League game of this weekend.

It’s fair to say West Ham have enjoyed a barnstorming start to this top flight campaign. Having endured a tumultuous season last year, David Moyes’ side look an outfit transformed from the relegation struggles of 2019-20.

The Hammers enter tonight’s contest looking for their third win on the bounce following victories over Fulham and Sheffield United.

But they’ll face a stern test in Dean Smith’s Villa, who themselves look rejuvenated after surviving relegation last season.

The Villains have tightened things up at the back and look a real threat going forwards with Ollie Watkins feeding off the Jack Grealish supply line.

Villa suffered a controversial 2-1 defeat to Brighton last time out, and will be looking for a similar performance to the display showcased the last time they were in London, where they smashed Arsenal 3-0.

Stay tuned as we bring you live commentary of the game at the London Stadium, with team news to come shortly.
