Wanda Icardi has had her fair share of issues with footballers, and it turns out that Ivan Perisic was one of them before the winger left for Bayern Munich on loan in 2019.

Perisic's seven-year stint at Inter Milan has now ended and the Croatian has signed for Tottenham as Antonio Conte looks to bolster his squad for the Champions League next season. Perisic is well respected within the footballing world, and Spurs fans are already starting to get excited about the season ahead.

But while minding his own business at Inter he became involved in the ugly spat between Mauro, Wanda, and the club. And that's after he was accused of reacting angrily when Matteo Politano celebrated a goal in a similar way to Icardi's trademark style.

Things were going great for Icardi at Inter, and he was named as the club captain after being handed a huge new deal. But he was later stripped of his captaincy after his wife Wanda made disrespectful comments about Inter's management and their players.

In response to this, Icardi refused to play, and the ugly fallout then began before he was loaned to PSG – and was later sold permanently. But Perisic's spat with Wanda came when Politano celebrated a goal in a similar way to Icardi while her husband was not on the field.

Perisic reacted when Politano cupped his ears in a celebration similar to Icardi's after putting his side 2-1 up against Fiorentina, even though it looked as though the Croatian was just upset that his team-mate was showing disrespect. And although Perisic then put Inter 3-1 up from the penalty spot, it came back to bite them as they drew 3-3.

Wanda wasn't having any of it, as she told Mediaset: "We were all stood watching Perisic's penalty, but does that gesture we've seen help us be relaxed? It doesn't.

"There are so many injustices in football, like this penalty [to Fiorentina] and the behaviour of Perisic, or even leaving Icardi at home – somebody who has given everything for Inter and is being made out to be a monster, which he isn't.

"I've had enough of this rubbish – he's going into the dressing room every single day. He's not done anything, it's all just non-existent drama."
