Brighton v Wolves

Key stat: Brighton have accumulated 51 Premier League points during their time in the top-flight, 36 of which have come at home, equalling 70.6 per cent. Wolves’ 15 Premier League points this campaign is the highest total by a newly-promoted side after nine games since West Brom attained the same in the 2010/11. season

Form: The Seagulls have won their last two matches 1-0, seeing off West Ham and Newcastle in that time, taking them up to 12th in the table. The away side suffered their first defeat in seven but that good run has taken the Wanderers to ninth.

Main men: Glenn Murray has notched five of Brighton’s 10 goals this season, contributing to 50 per cent. Similarly, Raul Jimenez has directly contributed to 55.6 per cent of his side’s goals, five out of nine thus far.

Best backed: 0-1 (6/1 with Sky Bet)

Fulham v Bournemouth

Key stat: Fulham have drawn five of their last 16 matches against the Cherries, while the visitors have registered two draws in their last eight encounters with London sides.

Form: The Cottagers occupy a place in the relegation zone after their poor run of form. They have gone six matches without a win, losing their last three in which they have conceded 12. Bournemouth are unbeaten in three and have kept two clean sheets in a row, taking Eddie Howe’s side into the top six as a result.

Main men: Aleksandar Mitrovic scored five in his first six Premier League fixtures but has failed to net in his last three, with the Serbian itching to regain his finishing touch this weekend. Callum Wilson has had a hand in seven goals for the Vitality Stadium outfit this campaign, three goals and four assists, which is more than any other Englishman.

Best backed: 1-1 (13/2 with Sky Bet)

Liverpool v Cardiff

Key stat: Liverpool only have the solitary loss in 45 Premier League home matches against newly promoted teams, winning all seven under Jurgen Klopp. Cardiff have lost 14 of their last 15 meetings with ‘big six’ opposition in the league.

Form: The Reds got back to winning ways following their two consecutive draws with Chelsea and Manchester City, as they ground out a 1-0 win at Huddersfield last weekend, subsequently placing them in second. Neil Warnock’s team attained their first win of the season as they played out an entertaining 4-2 win against Fulham last time out, which took them out of the relegation places.

Main men: Mohamed Salah may not have hit top gear, but still has four goals and two assists to his name this year in the Premier League, while scoring three and creating three in his last five games against newly promoted sides. Josh Murphy claimed his second goal of the season last weekend and is now Cardiff’s top scorer.

Best backed: 3-0 (11/2 with Sky Bet)

Southampton v Newcastle

Key stat: Southampton have only one defeat in 17 home Premier League games against Newcastle, winning 12 and drawing four, while the Magpies have one win in their last 14 league matches.

Form: A potential six-pointer will take place at St Mary’s this weekend, as the Saints have failed to register a win in five, while Rafa Benitez’s men have not won a game all season, leaving them rock bottom of the Premier League and Southampton in 16th.

Main men: Danny Ings has scored 50 per cent of his team’s goals during the 2018/19 season, scoring three out of six. Martin Dubravka has made a total of 26 saves for Newcastle this season and will have to be in fine form to prevent the hosts’ frontline from scoring.

Best backed: 1-0 (5/1 with Sky Bet)

Watford v Huddersfield

Key stat: Watford have won seven out of 12 at home under their manager Javi Gracia, while Huddersfield have only won once in their last 19 Premier League matches.

Form: The Hornets returned to winning ways with a smart 2-0 away win at Wolves, previously failing to win their last four league games, which has kept them in the top half at seventh position. David Wagner’s side gained their third draw, and point, of the season at Burnley but lost at home to Liverpool, keeping them in 19th place and in desperate need of points.

Main men: Roberto Pereyra scored another stunner at the weekend to net his fourth of the season, proving the ability to change a game in an instance. Two of Huddersfield’s four goals they have mustered this season has derived from defenders, which could imply that set-pieces may have a pivotal part to play this weekend if the Terriers can exploit the Watford backline from them.

Best backed: 2-0 (6/1 with Sky Bet)

Bristol City v Stoke

Key stat: The last time these two sides met was in the Carabao Cup third round, where the hosts dispatched the Potters 2-0 before reaching the semi-final where they could not get past Manchester City. The last meeting between the two after this was in 2008, where Stoke got the three points in a Championship fixture.

Form: The Robins have only suffered one defeat in five, but also earned their first win in that same period with a smart away win at promotion-chasers Brentford, placing them in the mid-table position. Gary Rowett’s squad have only lost one in five and salvaged a late point in their last outing against Sheffield United.

Main men: Andreas Weimann has scored three for the hosts thus far, while Benik Afobe has four for the relegated Stoke side.

Best backed: 2-1 (8/1 with Sky Bet)
