“Rattled” Pep Guardiola accused of being “sour” in row with Graham Potter

Football fans have suggested Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola was "rattled" by Graham Potter following Brighton's win on Tuesday night.

The Brighton boss clashed with Guardiola after the 3-2 win at the Amex with City having been 2-0 ahead.

Guardiola's side have already wrapped up the Premier League title though the Spaniard was left less than pleased at the final whistle.

He had seen his side reduced to ten men early on with Joao Cancelo sent off, though City still went two goals ahead.

Brighton pulled it back with Dan Burn netting a winner in front of fans on the south coast.

Members of coaching staff for both teams intervened as Guardiola and Potter clashed though City's team were visibly angry with the Brighton boss.

Though Guardiola was giving little away, saying: "What I say to him is personal. Not here."

Fans were relishing what they saw though with one putting: "Dropped a masterclass on Pep’s head & then proceeds to rattle the entire City staff. Graham Potter is my manager."

While another added: "Pep and City are so sour when they lose lol, well done Graham Potter."

And a third put: "Graham Potter rattling Pep after beating City, THATS MY MANAGER!"

With one more commenting: "Graham Potter winding up Pep and his coaching staff. I’ve seen enough. Bring him in."

Potter admitted he was in the wrong, apologising to Guardiola for his actions during the game.

The Brighton boss told BBC Sport: "He was disappointed with me. I was over emotional with our first goal celebration.

"It wasn't good from me. I apologise. It was just emotion."
