Forgotten Spurs star Mido ruins O’Hara for claim he teased teacher with Bentley

Jamie O'Hara has been caught out after reminiscing about a time in school about a teacher's comments on talkSPORT by former Tottenham Hotspur teammate Mido, who was quick to show him up with a hilarious tweet.

O'Hara, 35, started his youth career at Arsenal at the age of 12 before moving to rivals Tottenham Hotspur in 2003, where he spent eight years. Mido made the move to North London a few years after on an initially loan spell from Italian outfit Roma before his move was made permanent the following season.

It was pleasing to see that the pair have remained good friends outside of football, after all these years. O'Hara now a pundit for Sky Sports and talkSPORT told a story of how he went about proving his old teacher wrong after becoming a footballer. "I remember a teacher telling me once when I was in school, I was always a bit of a cheeky chap, most teachers liked me but this one teacher she really didn't like me," he said.

"I remember she made me stand up in front of the whole class, and she turned around to me and said: 'you need to start listening in school because you're never going to be a footballer.'

"And that stuck with me for ever, and I never forget it. I mean I've done some stupid stuff in my career but what gave me great satisfaction was turning up in my white Bentley with the roof down, parking right outside her class and going, 'I made it.'"
