Reports in France have claimed PSG are set to sack manager Mauricio Pochettino

PSG were crowned champions following their 1-1 draw with Lens on Saturday, but despite running away with the league title, Pochettino and his players have come under intense scrutiny since their exit from the Champions League in the last 16.

Conte is among those touted as a possible replacement for Pochettino, despite the Italian having only joined Spurs in November.

According to RMC Sport, Conte wants a salary of around £25million – nearly double his Tottenham wage – if he is to be persuaded to take the PSG Job.

The French network also reported the Italian would demand a social media director to help control the dressing room amid fears there are too many ‘Instagram players’ – such as Neymar, Kylian Mbappe and Lionel Messi – at the club.

PSG winning the Ligue 1 title has not eased speculation over Pochettino’s future in France

Conte, who is hoping to guide Spurs to Champions League football, is likely to insist on having the authority over transfers and will want to bring his own staff to Paris, RMC Sport reported.

Erik ten Hag taking over the reins at Old Trafford has left Pochettino in an uncertain position and PSG are now negotiating the terms of his departure, according to Le Parisien.

The report suggests that Pochettino no longer wants to continue with the French giants, while the club also do not want the Argentine to be their manager going forward.

It is claimed that PSG will need to pay a fee of £12.6m in order to sack Pochettino and his coaching staff, who have one year left on their contracts.

Conte has made an impact since joining Tottenham in November as they push for the top four

Conte has managed to turn Tottenham’s fortunes around and put them back in contention for a top-four finish in the Premier League.

Spurs currently sit fifth, just two points behind rivals Arsenal with five games left to be played this season.

Despite Conte’s reported interest in the PSG job, former Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane is said to be the preferred target.
