Chelsea transfer round-up as interest in Thomas Tuchel favourite ‘grows’

Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel is preparing for the Champions League final this weekend, but will know he can't be left behind in the summer transfer window.

The Blues face Manchester City on Saturday in a battle to be crowned kings of Europe, and Stamford Bridge may just be that bit more attractive should Chelsea win.

Tuchel only took over in west London in January though has impressed following the sacking of Frank Lampard.

He is ready for his first transfer window with speculation aplenty as to who could come in and out of the Bridge.

Interest in Thomas Tuchel favourite 'grows'

Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel is an admirer of Borussia Monchengladbach star Jonas Hofmann.

And reports in Germany claim interest is growing from the Blues this summer in the 28-year-old.

Kicker add that winger Hofmann had the best season of his career though Chelsea will need to find an agreement with Borussia Monchengladbach to get any deal over the line.

Eden Hazard decision

Former Stamford Bridge hero Eden Hazard is looking likely to leave Real Madrid this summer with the Blues inevitably linked with a move for the Belgian.

Though the Sunday World report that Chelsea do not see Hazard as a priority target for the summer.

It is claimed that Tuchel wants a wide player with Borussia Dortmund star Jadon Sancho instead a top target.

AC Milan talks

Fikayo Tomori had a strong end to the season on loan from Chelsea at AC Milan and the Serie A giants are keen to keep the defender.

Renowned transfer journalist Gianluca Di Marzio has said Milan have held talks with the Blues over Tomori's future.

Chelsea had put a €28m option to buy in the initial loan deal and it's believed the Premier League side do not want to lower that fee at all.
