Borussia Dortmund are already on the lookout for the next Jadon Sancho and have identified Liverpool’s 17-year-old forward Bobby Duncan as a potential recruit, according to The Mirror.
The Bundesliga leaders have seen Sancho thrive since his £10million arrival from Manchester City last summer and are hoping his success will coax fellow English hopefuls to Germany.
Duncan, who is the cousin of Anfield icon Steven Gerrard, moved to Liverpool from Manchester City in the summer, signing a three-year deal, and trained with Jurgen Klopp’s senior team for the first time last week.
Bobby Duncan of Liverpool is the latest English talent on Borussia Dortmund’s radar
Age: 17 (born 25 June, 2001)
Joined Liverpool: July 2018
Contracted until: June 2021

England U17 – Caps: 15 Goals: 5
The opportunity arose following Duncan’s impressive impact since his move from City. During his time on Merseyside he has scored six goals and three assists in seven U18 Premier League games.
His call-up to train with the senior team was a significant step in his development but the chance to emulate Sancho, who is becoming a first-team star alongside the likes of Marco Reus in Dortmund, will be a tempting prospect.
Duncan is not the only player Dortmund have an eye on, however, with Manchester City’s Phil Foden also on their radar. Foden is considered to be one of Europe’s foremost midfield talents but has found opportunities limited under Pep Guardiola.
With his current contract expiring on 2020, Manchester City could find themselves in a similar position to the one they found with Sancho. They agreed to sell Sancho to Dortmund to avoid the risk of him joining a Premier League rival.

Chelsea youngster Callum Hudson-Odoi is the third man on the list after he played a starring role in pre-season.
The Blues have historically struggled to turn academy graduates into first-team stars and the early indication under Maurizio Sarri is that little will change.
However, Dortmund face competition from Thierry Henry’s Monaco for the 17-year-old with new sporting director Michael Emenalo keen to bring him to the south of France following his own move earlier this month.
