England team announcement LIVE – Latest news as Eddie Jones names squad to face New Zealand
Eddie Jones names his England team for this Saturday’s Quilter International against New Zealand in what will be the first time the two sides have met since 2014.
The All Blacks remain the team to beat, having won back-to-back Rugby World Cups and sitting on top of the world rankings for the last nine years. But with the likes of Manu Tuilagi and Chris Ashton back in the squad, England are looking to rekindle their famous 2012 victory over New Zealand – though Jones’ team selection will be crucial towards achieving that.
Off the back of a 12-11 victory over South Africa last weekend, England will be forced into at least one change as Tom Curry has been ruled out of the autumn. Sam Underhill looks set to come into the side to replace the flanker, but there could yet be other changes throughout the team, while Tuilagi is also likely to return to the squad after missing out last week through a late injury withdrawal.
