Veteran recruiter Clayton joins Kangaroos
North Melbourne's off-field reshuffle continues, with recruiting guru Scott Clayton joining the club's recruitment and list management department.
The 60-year-old former Fitzroy defender's extensive resume includes putting together the bulk of Brisbane's triple premiership-winning squad, as well as Gold Coast's inaugural list.
Clayton, who spent eight years with the Suns, was part of West Coast's recruiting and list management team, based in Melbourne, over the past two years.
He also worked as a talent-spotter with the Western Bulldogs after leaving Brisbane at the end of 1998.
Clayton will take on a newly created position in charge of player personnel at North Melbourne.
His appointment follows the announcement of data analyst Glenn Luff as the Kangaroos' list manager and former coach Darren Crocker as mature-age scout.
