Broncos’ Tevita Pangai bombshell starts ‘fire sale’

The Broncos’ “fire sale” has begun with reports on Thursday night revealing turbulent forward Tevita Pangai is expected to join the Wests Tigers in the middle of the 2021 season.

Just weeks after the Broncos were reportedly left “seething” about Pangai’s meeting with Tigers coach Michael Maguire, the wrecking ball forward could now link up with the Sydney club as early as next week.

The Australian reports Pangai may have been playing his final game for the Broncos when he ran out onto Suncorp Stadium on Thursday night.

Channel 7’s Chris Garry reported Thursday Pangai’s move is the start of a “fire sale” that could see Matt Lodge, Corey Oates and Isaako all leave before the start of the 2022 season.

Coach Kevin Walters has been honest in public when speaking about his plans to re-shape the playing roster.

Star playmaker Anthony Milford has also been told he will not be receiving a contract extension for 2022.
