NASCAR at Talladega: live race updates, results, highlights from 500

The NASCAR playoffs Round of 22 continues Sunday at Talladega with the 500.

Kyle Larson clinched a spot in the next round by winning last week’s race at Dover, which he led nearly all the second half of.

Chase Elliott has the pole Sunday, and he is one of many drivers in need of a strong performance after last week.

Elliott had an engine problem end his race at Dover in the first 10 laps, and Joey Logano suffered an axle problem before the green lap, forcing him to the garage early.
