England team-mates Phil Foden and Mason Mount arrive in Monaco for the Formula One Grand Prix as Manchester City midfielder continues his Premier League title celebrations in style

Mason Mount and Phil Foden have touched down in Monaco for Formula One’s illustrious Grand Prix this weekend.

The England internationals were seen enjoying themselves in Monte Carlo ahead of Friday’s hour-long practice session on the Circuit de Monaco.

Both players flew over to watch the flagship F1 event after wrapping up the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.

The Monaco Grand Prix is synonymous with glitz and glamour. Top class celebrities across the world make the journey over to Monte Carlo to watch the famous F1 race. 

The Formula One event is also followed up by superyacht parties, fashion shows and concerts – so, it’s clear to see why the footballers enjoy attending in their off-season. 

Mount, who is known for taking pride in his fashion sense, was pictured wearing a black and white chequered shirt as he arrived by boat to the Red Bull Racing Energy Station in Monaco.

The 23-year-old Chelsea midfielder also donned a pair of black and white converse with some chunky sunglasses as he strolled up to join his friends. 

Meanwhile, Foden cut a more casual figure as he arrived at the Red Bull Racing Energy Station in a pair of shorts with a matching t-shirt. 

Both Mount and Foden were seen posing together as they enjoyed the sunshine ahead of Friday’s hour-long practice session.

Foden and his City team-mates were crowned as the 2021-2022 Premier League champions

Foden and his City team-mates were recently crowned as the 2021-2022 Premier League champions after a dramatic final day to the season on Sunday.

City – who were just one win away from securing the title – but went 2-0 down to Aston Villa with just 15 minutes remaining.

However, they managed to score three goals in five minutes to win 3-2 and claim their fourth Premier League title under Pep Guardiola.

Meanwhile, Chelsea finished the 2021-2022 season in third place – much to the disappointment of Thomas Tuchel. 

Foden and Mount will continue to enjoy their off-season – with pre-season club training expected to start in July.

Charles Leclerc finished fastest in Friday’s first practice, while Sergio Perez finished second

The pair will enjoying watching F1’s high profile driver battle it out on Sunday for bragging rights in Monaco.

Lewis Hamilton finished in 10th place, while his team-mate George Russell was nearly three tenths quicker than him in eighth. 

Hamilton’s arch enemy, Max Verstappen, came in fourth with a time of 1:14.712, while Lando Norris returned to the scene with a time of 1:15.056. 

Meanwhile, Mick Schumacher and Valtteri Bottas will need to get out of the blocks quickly for second practice to make up for their disappointing start.  

Lewis Hamilton (above) finished in 10th place while Max Verstappen came in fourth
