Week 10 Fantasy Rankings: Defense
You might have mixed feelings when looking at our Week 10 fantasy defense rankings. While you shouldn’t have a problem finding a starter you’re comfortable with, you might have to go to the waiver wire, as we’re big on a bunch of streamers and pickups with favorable matchups this week. That means either dropping your current D/ST or carrying two, which is tough to do this late in the season, especially if you’re still dealing with bye weeks. The biggest issue with carrying two D/STs is the inevitable start ’em, sit ’em drama it causes, even if the answer seems obvious.
The four teams idle this week (Broncos, Ravens, Vikings, Texans) all feature defenses that are usually considerations in fantasy leagues, so you’d think losing them would really hurt. Yes and no. While it would be nice to have more depth, none of those four are particularly generous to opposing D/STs (statistically Minnesota has been, but that’s more because of a few big plays). With teams like the Cardinals, Jaguars and Giants back after their byes, plus the usual suspects of rookie QBs (Jets, Browns), turnover-prone QBs (Bucs, Bills, 49ers, Dolphins), and teams that have given up double-digit sack games this year (Lions, Titans), it’s relatively easy to make a case for over half the available D/STs this week.
Week 10 Rankings:
Quarterback | Running Back | Wide Receiver | Tight End | Kicker
Things don’t always work out as they should — at least, now how the stats say they should — but there are plenty of options this week if you’re willing to be flexible.
