Jerry Jones repeats mistake in trading first-round pick for Amari Cooper

The Dallas Cowboys made an aggressive move on Monday to boost their receiving corps, trading with Oakland for wide receiver Amari Cooper.

At first glance, getting Cooper made a lot of sense for Dallas. The Cowboys are 29th in the league in passing yards per game. Their core receivers of Cole Beasley, Allen Hurns and Deonte Thompson don’t exactly inspire a lot of confidence. Cooper should be an upgrade.

But that was until we saw what the Cowboys gave up.
