College football coronavirus updates: Miami Hurricanes coach Manny Diaz tests positive

Manny Diaz has tested positive for coronavirus, the Miami Hurricanes head coach announced Friday.

"I am currently in isolation and feeling good overall," he wrote on Twitter. "I will continue to work with our team virtually as we prepare for our next game at Wake Forest."

The No. 9 Hurricanes' matchup for this Saturday against Georgia Tech had already been postponed due to COVID-19-related issues within the Miami program. They will be out of action next weekend too, but are scheduled to face Wake Forest on Dec. 5.

Diaz is the second Power 5 head coach to reveal a positive test in the last two days: the Maryland Terrapins' Michael Locksley, whose team is also experiencing an outbreak and had two games canceled, tested positive Monday.
