Logan Paul’s WWE showdown confirmed as YouTuber to battle The Miz at SummerSlam

Logan Paul’s return to WWE has been officially confirmed, with the YouTuber turned boxer set to take on The Miz at SummerSlam later this month. Paul began his fighting career in the boxing ring after taking on fellow YouTube star – and now business partner – KSI in 2018.

After fighting KSI twice, Paul also took on boxing legend Floyd Mayweather in an exhibition bout last summer which ended in a draw. Following a stint in the boxing ring, the American influencer has since made his move into the wrestling world.

His WWE debut came back in April as he made his debut appearance at the promotion’s flagship event – Wrestlemania in Texas.

Paul teamed up with upcoming opponent The Miz to take on wrestling legend Rey Mysterio and his son Dominik. Upon making his debut, the YouTuber was given a frosty reception by the 70,000 strong Texan crowd as he was jeered on his way to the ring.

The hostile reception did not deter him though, as he and The Miz dominated their opponents to secure a debut win for the 27-year-old. Things did not end well though, as whilst Paul had his back turned and celebrated, his teammate turned on him which has set up this month’s upcoming fight.

Following the attack, the YouTuber insisted that the pair take each other one-on-one but the offer was turned down by the WWE fighter. The pair then came across each other once more on this week’s instalment of Monday night RAW, where Paul once again offered which resulted in another decline from The Miz.

Paul though finally got his way, as he began to taunt the wrestler leading to The Miz snapping and finally accepting the invitation to fight. T he YouTuber officially signed with WWE at the end of June, and upon signing his contract had a strong message for his upcoming opponent prior to their agreement.

After signing on the dotted line Paul said: “So look, I've just signed my contract – it is a big deal. But after all, it is my contract, so I'm going to make a little addition here… Yeah, you read that right, assuming you can read. "I'm coming for you, Miz. Let's get it."
