Star filly’s next spring assignment revealed
Peter and Paul Snowden are prepared to give star filly Dame Giselle her chance against the older horses and run the three-year-old in the $1 million Yes Yes Yes Stakes (1300m) at Rosehill next week.
The four-time Group 2 winner will trial on Friday morning at Warwick Farm over 800m before lining up in eight days time against the likes of Gytrash and Haut Brion Her.
The Snowdens have kept Dame Giselle in work since her Flight Stakes run back on October 3.
Dame Giselle’s bid to become the third filly in history to secure a clean sweep of the Princess Series fell just short when she got caught in traffic before finishing off for fourth in the Flight Stakes behind Montefilia.

However, the daughter of I Am Invincible had already proven herself as one of the best fillies of her generation by that stage after winning a hat-trick of Group 3s in the Silver Shadow, Furious and Tea Rose Stakes.
The Snowdens are now keen to test her outside of her own age and sex in the Yes Yes Yes Stakes.
“She is going to meet some handy horses in the Yes Yes Yes so let’s hope conditions can stay dry for her,” Paul Snowden said.
“At the moment she is still in good order and should be ready for the challenge.
“She hasn’t done much since the Flight Stakes so we will just give her a bit of a squeeze around there in the trial on Friday and make sure she has a bit of a blow.”
Tommy Berry will continue his partnership with Dame Giselle in the Yes Yes Yes.
