Cambage and overseas guns called in for Opals’ Tokyo qualifiers

Liz Cambage and Jenna O'Hea will lead the charge for the Australian Opals next month as they look to seal a place at the Tokyo Olympics.

Opals coach Sandy Brondello named a strong squad for the four-team Olympic basketball qualifying tournament in France from February 6-10 with the top three teams moving onto the Olympics.

"This will be vital with the limited preparation that we will have leading into these important games.

"We are confident of achieving our goal of qualifying for the Tokyo Olympics and look forward to continued improvement with the more time we have together."

All three Opals games will be shown live on FIBA's YouTube channel with Opals v France on February 7 at 4am, Opals v Puerto Rico on February 9 at 6.30am and Opals v Brazil on February 10 at midnight.
